RELEASED Cowboys have released cornerback Trevon Diggs

Yeah I would never have done that it seems like they're playing nice with him to let him go if he get picked up by a team for the playoffs but I would sit him just for that very fact yes it would be bitter but all the drama all the nonsense all the money they paid him I'd make him wait until the season was over... And release him but like I said mine is sour grapes if he's not going to help us I don't want him to go to another team and help them either..

After all the nonsense is somehow the front office was doing him wrong this is actually a nice thing to do for him because he may get picked up by another team you know who might that might be the Eagles you watch he's going to be playing for the Eagles and that is the reason you don't let him go get on an Eagles playoff team..
Yes, but if someone picks them up, they take his salary, right

good. we have a few others I'd like to see go ASAP
It's not good he can end up on a playoff team that's kind of a bonus he's getting rewarded for his bad play and I don't like it whether he plays good for someone else or not I can see this guy right now getting picked up by the Eagles if he clears waivers enough to get there they need help on the back end they would do like nothing else but to put him on their playoff roster.. Is a very Howie thing to do it's a very reason I would leave him and then release him on Monday after the game I'd make him play..

Dallas Cowboys have released cornerback Trevon Diggs today, December 30, 2025, per reports from Adam Schefter and Todd Archer, with Diggs confirming the news and stating he's healthy and ready to join a new team for the postseason.

Looks like Jerry and dak said there were too many people going to the strip clubs ,so one had to go.

Traded a 1 for Amari and we get a 5 for him
Let dware go
Let Lewis walk
Traded parsons just before the season
Gave away 2 4s for guys that dont do anything and a 7th guys sits on the bench

Now we don't get anything for diggs

Not much how does that matter this year he's been paid for every game but the last game So what kind of salary do you think he says my understanding is you got to keep him on the roster until you can designate him a post June first cut next year and it saves them about $17 million so I don't know what this is going to cost them I don't know how that works where you get released one game left in that season..

Seems to be the wrong move but Cowboys are used to do making the wrong moves I think they're doing this to him as a favor..
