Good, I hope they are there to watch Jackson Jeffcoat. I keep hearing about what he lacks in size, strength, fluidity, and creativity, but he sure didn't lack in production. 82 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, 4 pass break ups, 2 forced fumbles, and a blocked punt doesn't sound so slight to me.

Jeffcoat who looks to be projected in 2nd or 3rd rd I would not mind getting in the 3rd rd. I enjoyed watching him at Texas and I think he has a chance to develop into a quality pass rusher at this level but yes as a DE in a 4-3 I would be a bit leery of his lack of size.

Agreed 100%. You don't get that kind of production by luck.

Matter of fact, he produced every year

Yeah, he and Dee Ford have almost exact combine #s. Height, weight, 40 time, etc..., but Jeffcoat was far more productive at the position and is ranked by most 2 rounds later. I think Ford is better against the run and has a quicker first step, but I don't see the two round gap.

Me neither.

Without looking at his numbers, you'd think Jeffcoat was a far inferior prospect.

I like both players as prospects

To me, he is Spencer but with a bit more upside. What he might look like, two years removed from his knee injury could be much different then last year and last year was not terrible. I like Jeffcoat and always have. He's a little bit lite but I think he could gain some weight and be a nice DE in a 43.

As I said I would love to have him the question in my mind is what round would you select him? Not sure I would be willing to take the risk in the 2nd round but 3rd I would.
