The Dallas Cowboys signed their 2013 second round draft pick today: TE Gavin Escobar (47th overall) San Diego State. Story to come.

New CBA. Almost all the players are more or less slotted. Not much in the way of negotiations these days.

Cowboys have the cap money to sign all draftees and along with new CBA guidelines regarding rookie salaries, there is no reason to prolong it, it's just matter of wordings and salary structure of life of contract that will hold up a bit.

I don't miss that even a tiny bit. There was nothing enjoyable about the last minute signings at all IMO.
