Hargraves was not Philly's best pass rusher. He was 3rd in sacks. His production should easily be replaced by Carter and Smith.
He was actually tied for 2nd with Graham and Sweat but they did have the most sacks and 4 in double digits. Hargraves made his out of the DT position so I consider that a little more elevated than DE.

The Eagles could give the Niners a run in the DL if Carter or Davis shows up. More to the DL that just sacks. SF ranked 1st against the run, PHL ranked 15th, actually worse than DAL.

The NFCCG appearance drought is an imaginary monkey that only matters to some fans. It isn't something that actually matters or puts any more/less pressure on the players.

Reddick 19.5, Sweat 12.5, Hargraves 12. You stated that they lost their best pass rusher, rushing defense was not mentioned.

A true loser mentality. Just like those that boast about 12 win seasons and playoff failures.
Yes. Thinking that not being good in 2001 is in any way relevant to success in 2023 is a loser mentality.

Maybe not , some of these players weren’t even born last time we made it to a championship game but it’s pressure on our franchise and it actually matters to our ownership and why Jethro has already stated that’s the expectation this season.

This futility mark hangs over our franchise while it may not be in our players minds. Not all of them anyway.

Where are you getting those numbers? On NFL.com, it's 16 for Reddick and 11 for Hargraves, Graham and Sweat.

Thinking that failure year after year is not significant defines loser.
It's not this team's failure. Do you really think 2003 is relevant to Micah Parsons? lol

If it is relevant, then you think they have no chance of winning ever again, so there's really no reason for you to watch. Coward's mentality.

Cumulatively to our franchise it is relevant much like we didn’t like the “ next year champions “ label in late 60’s. It’s a stench that hangs over our franchise not necessarily this team or players .

What effect it has on our players is purely subjective. Might have more effect on our QB than anyone as he has to continue hearing it.

But this monkey is on our owners back and I’d think there’s some pressure for our HC as well.

There’s pressure on our franchise to finally kick down the Championship door even if this current roster has no relativity to prior teams futility.

If we make playoffs 3 year in a row without a Championship appearance then this team might begin feeling the pressure and stigma associated .

The championship drought is excusable.

The no divisional win over the same period is embarrassing.

Puts us in a group with Washington, Detroit, Cleveland and Miami. Houston also.

Not exactly fine company for a once model franchise.
It is not excusable, it is the worst streak in NFL history.

It's relevant because every single year you hear the talk wait until January. I saw it last year after Thanksgiving when the team started to struggle barely beating bad teams. And we were told it's no big deal. They won. Well cracks started to be shown and surprise come January and the same thing happens.

I’m not sure I’d say it’s the worst streak in NFL history . There are some like the Bengals losing 7 straight playoff games. How about Tampa losing what 26 straight games . Bills losing 4 straight Super Bowls. There are still several teams without ever making a Super Bowl. There are a few streaks worst than ours.

It’s just the longest draught in NFL history for a team in Divisional Round not to make Championship game .

King Kong is on their back.
I don’t know if it’s that big but it’s getting there. The Super Bowl is a bigger monkey than championship game . One monkey at a time . Right now we need to get this one off .

Besides a championship, the pressure to get past the divisional round is definitely getting larger by the year. Specially as the team improves! For a good part of 30 years we knew they had no legitimate shot, but now that they do, we'll see if they can actually handle that pressure.. or fold!

The Boys need to stop being ultra scared to use assets in order to win now. This is 100% the time to go all in and find ways to bring in as much help as you can to try and win this year. They made good moves but probably won't make any more that would have a high impact unless a team is dumping a player. And that is unfortunate because there is no 1 team clearly above Dallas right now.
