Was there not anyone from New England or Philly or Jacksonville or the Vikings we could have pulled?
Unfortunately we could not do this since they are in this thing that is called a conference championship game this coming weekend. It is foreign concept in Dallas. A game that we have not taken part of in 22 long years.

He's never had an Zeke Elliott running behind his lines.

Who is the closest they've had? Giovani Bernard?

I don't think those running stats mean much.
Rudi Johnson and Cedric Benson were his best backs.

Solid guys, Johnson was even very good a couple years.

But they ain’t Zeke.

This is pretty much exactly the sort of hire people wanted a week ago when they decided we were idiots for elevating Marc Colombo. Tons of experience. Some very OLs under his belt. ZBS guy. Why do we hate him again? Because the Bengals weren’t a good team last season, is that it?
If the Bengals thought he was their answer..

they would have retained him.

This hire is a headscratcher.

I realize few coaches want to coach here unless Jerrah overpays.

It makes perfect sense.

No up and coming coach is going to come here. They will have little input, Coach and coordinators set in their way.

Likely a one year rental and a new regime next season.
