which helps the offense. no need to score 30 points and a bunch of stats.

Careful now, you're acknowledging that QBs sometimes get put in bad positions by their defense. So far, Rush has never had to deal with that. It does make a difference.

This is definitely a championship defense in my opinion. And I’m really liking what’s happening with the offensive line

For today's game, it definitely is. Because elite defenses no longer exist. I'm just worried about the offense.

To be honest, it sounds like a great comparison on first blush, but I don’t really think that really means a lot.
I think the Bucs didn’t have Godwin for a better part of the game and they were able to shred our run defense to the tune of almost 200 yards.
In the Bengals game the defense started to get tired and/or complacent the 2nd half and almost let them win the game.
Against the Giants I thought the defense played pretty good except for some long scrambles by Jones and the one run by Barkley.
Overall, I think we are a good defense; we lead the NFL in sacks, but haven’t faced any top-flight o-lines, and we still are getting gashed in the run game a bit and to a lesser extent in the pass game. I think we have the potential to be great, but have some work to do.
I am interested to see our defense play against the Rams and Eagles, those games will be a good measuring stick to see where we really are as a defense.

May sound crazy but I'm not as concerned with the Rams, they are struggling on offense Stafford has throw 4 TD but also 5 int. I know some here love to claim him as elite, he is not. Rams Oline is not the same as last season and outside of Kupp really getting nothing from the rest of the offense.

This defense is young and still jelling it could be sensational.
