I'd rather beef up the OLine. A solid OLine with a "good enough" RB(s)
Dowdle is in the “good enough” range but we need an upgrade over him. He doesn’t break long runs and isn’t a playmaker. No one fears him but I definitely wouldn’t use a pick on a back in the top 15. Would love to land a dominant DT but not sure what the DT crop is like this year. OL would be a possibility.

Cowboys can wait until the 3rd and get a really goof RB. Dowdle plus that rook would make a great RB combo.

They can get a good DT at 12. Draft one, sign Osa and at least pretend like we are trying to stop the run.

Jerry is going to draft Jeanty...1. He's a Texas kid (Frisco), 2. He's a splash pick...to put butts in seats...and the rest of picks will come from MASH units...broken collar bone, busted knee, players who cant play for another year etc....we all know the drill....one splash pick the rest geriatrics...

We knew this weeks ago. I tried to help those of you who insisted on expending serious energy on it as if we were getting into tho top five by losing.

This is a super deep draft for RB's. I'm not sold on Jeanty as being significantly better than some of the other guys. Cowboys should get the best big player available at 11. Second round should be good for RB. Just don't get cute again Jerry and try to keep trading down until they are all off the board.
I live in Boise and would love to see Jeanty on the Cowboys, but not at 11 or 12.
If they can trade back and still get him, I’m in. He’s a legit 1st rounder but this team needs a lot more help than just RB.
OL or DL if they stay put please.

Salary offset quite a bit by jersey sales.

Stephen is all over that.

Build from the outside in….

We need to send Aubrey on plane quick to help the Niners. This Moody guy couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn

I don't really see it with Jeanty either. Elite vision/balance, but jack of all trades everything else. Saw what happened in the Bowl game where the blocking wasn't there. That said, agree that Jerry will do Jerry things, and a RB sells jerseys.

Rather have MG but he'll be gone.

I hope San Fran loses so you people who are happy about losing today have to suffer with a worse draft pick.

lol-at any fan upset with the Cowboys getting a better draft pick out of a meaningless game. Garrett loved winning these types of games where the other team pulls important starters and is not putting their full effort into winning. I don’t know what the gameplan for Washington’s offense was in the first half other than to run a few plays and try not to get injured.

I’ve discussed this with people but I’m not entirely sure why everyone thinks MG will be gone. What team takes him?

I mean I would too but at the same time don’t make the mistake of passing up Stephen Jackson for Julius Jones. You can make a huge mistake getting cute trading from talent.
I agree, but longevity is so difficult to predict in RBs. On rare occasions do u find an Adrain Petersons or Steven Jackson in the first round. It was more predictable in 80s and 90s it seems, but not lately.
