It's not that I believe the season is over or we aren't capable of making the playoffs again.

The problem I have, it's too similar to every other year. We have the same problems and haven't adequately addressed them. Still struggling to run and defend the run. Year in and year out we throw crap at the wall and it doesn't stick. The film on our DTs is really bad. We have a talent problem there and I'm not convinced coaching can fix it.

Watching the difference between Cleveland and New Orleans just served to show me this is the same team that can show up any week. It's why I don't expect the consistency to win multiple playoff games.

That would be correct. Washington with the division win, Philly with a conference win, Dallas with a non-conference win. The Giants doing Giants things.

I think between our home playoff loss to the Packers along with our terrible performance at home vs Saints, with our defense giving up 6 consecutive TD drives makes for quite a panic even this early in the season. The stats indicate that we simply are a soft defense against the run and don't have near enough playmakers. If I wait a few weeks, there might be an injury or two on defense to make it even worse lol.

At least the Eagles don't look that great either.
