Sunday against the New York Giants is a big game, contrary to some others’ beliefs. It’s the first regular season game at the Cowboys new home against a divisional opponent. Winning this game could potentially put the Boys in good a position to be 5-0 at the bye. There has been allot of chatter between the two teams and the media is hyping up the game as well.

My question is, with all the pressure regarding this game, can we draw any parallels from watching Sunday on how the Romo and team will perform in December when the heat is on?

Injuries always help tell the tale in December. This is a big game, but I'm not sure you will be able to draw any conclusions about how the season will go from either a win....or a loss. If the score is lopsided one way or the other maybe you get something.

Why all the threads about December...that was the past...this is a new year. I'll think about December when it gets here. Let's get in the position to secure a playoff position first.

I'm not worried about the first 3 months. I know they're going to be 8-4 or 9-3 or something to that effect. My main concern is December. I'm sick and tired of the cowboys teasing us and when it really matters they freaking choke. It's all about December for me.

December has been a problem here for so long, some users were still wetting the bed when the trend began;)

Schedule looks tough now but we will see what happens. What else can you do? Focus on now and December will be here before you know it.

Like I said in my post, I think it all about the pressure of the big game as the reason that the Boys have tended disappoint of late. The Ravens game and the Pittsburg game come to mind from last year, as well as our recent playoff losses.

I believe this year will be different, with the whole team stepping up in big games in the face of pressure. I think this team just has allot of confidence this year without the expectations put on them last year. We’ll get our first look on Sunday.

During the season, there is a prime time to worry about how the team will fare in December.

One game won't tell us enough to know about December.

Remember last December against the Giants? Romo went 20-for-30 for 244 yards and two touchdowns, and we won by double digits. If he can do that in December, he certainly could do it in September.

Whether we turn things around in December/January will be about consistency at that point in the season -- doing it for five games, not just one.

I keep looking at the calendar and wondering how I missed October and November there are so many. If I slept through dead bird day I am going to be pissed.
