Both of the NFLE teams that have Cowboys playing for them won on the opening weekend, but our Boys had only a little to do with it...

Tony Curtis started at TE for Cologne, had 1 catch for 5 yards... OTOH Cologne did have a big day running the ball, 37 carries for 157 yards...

John Saldi started at SOLB for the Centurions, and had 1 of the team's 3 interceptions, which he returned 25 yards... he only had 1 tackle, though, and 1 pass defensed, so that 1 rather large play was pretty much it for him...

Remi Ayodele did not start at DT for Frankfurt but did play... he did not put up any stats...

NFLE is going on? thanks for the update Silver

I watched the game... this guy might not even be good enough for camp fodder...yes it was that bad.... too much of a fat ahss and when he moves he is too slow reacting.. I was very disappointed.

Well, like I said, he's not even starting over there, and that's not a good sign going in... thanks for the input, though, ol' buddy...

You got it. Here's the spiel.

http://www.nfleurope.com/news/story/9802525

The NFL Europe League has been re-named NFL Europa and has unveiled a new logo ahead of its 15th season which kicks off in April, 2007.
The move to NFL Europa is intended to highlight the importance of the German and Dutch markets and to create stronger ties with those countries. The new logo and name also maintains very firm links with the NFL in the United States.

NFL Europa Managing Director Uwe Bergheim believes the unveiling of the new name and logo is a very important step for the league, stating: “I am very happy that we can present a new era of professional football in Germany and Europe with our new name and logo.

“Just one letter has been changed but going from NFL Europe to NFL Europa shows how important the German and Dutch markets are for the NFL. It expresses the roots we have established over the last 15 years and that we want to stay here for a long time.

“The logo also emphasises our strong ties to the most successful sports league in the world, the NFL. We are part of Europe and also the NFL. Those aspects combine perfectly with our new logo and name. I hope that fans all around the league and Germany can identify even better with the NFL Europa.”

HUH? Where is he now? Good Lord. Henson came back for the pony show.

Curtis did not have a good day at all. He dropped at least two very catchable balls. I would not be suprised to see us draft a 2nd day tight end to go along with Witten and Fasano.
