Cowboys in the AFL

Well I was bored and since I'm a fan of the AFL I decided to make a list of Cowboys who now play in Arena Football. I'm not sure if I got them all though.

I'm glad to see Danny's coaching again. He did well for the Rattler's here. No, I'm not a fan of the Arena League. Just a fan of Danny's. I wonder if he'll ever get an NFL shot?

Oh and no shock at all that Robert Thomas is down there.

I'm surprised we didn't have Seder in for a workout after last season's misadventures at the kicking position. Or did we?

Pretty pathetic that we had so many AFL players on our team ... hoping they were the keys to getting us over the top.

As for Danny White ... bring him in as OC. Heck, bring back the old Landry Offense along with the OL Hitch. What a great salute to Tom Landry that would make.

I'd love to see the oline hitch brought back. That is what made me like the Cowboys in the first place. As for Danny it would be great to bring him back in to the fold some how but I don't see it happening.

We never thought of any of those players as our key to get over the top. Almost all of them were late round draft picks and undrafted free agents. They didn't pan out, so they continue their career in the AFL. I'm sure every team in the NFL has a similar list. The only exception is Spellman, but we basically just took a flier on him after his troubles.
