I would play him for at least a series, just to keep his head in it.

The only way this makes a ton of sense is if they really had a roster crunch for the 46 and want to activate a player or two that normally would not be.

This team isn’t the third string level of talent on those early 90s teams. Zeke is the the most important part on offense he needs a week w/o being run into the ground.

I’d give him 10 carries just to honor his desire to play and build on his rushing totals.

No game is “meaningless”... work on the offense to get it as proficient as you can before the playoffs.

He leads the NFL in carries by 48 and in total touches by 50.

If he "needs" some touches at this point, then let's forget about resigning him past his rookie deal and run him into the ground.

I agree this is totally different then pre season. In preseason they were not in football shape and didnt have any game time reps. This is the end of the season and we have Nothing to gain in this gain but we have a lot to lose if Zeke, Cooper martin Smith or even Dak gets hurt. Our offense has struggled but we all can agree it is worse without these guys. They have been practicing resting them this game IMO is a smart move.

And Garrett didn't seem to care when he was using him in the 4th quarter of that Colts game when it was out of hand. Also last year's Philly game when it meant nothing.

As much as I want Zeke to play, I also want him as fresh as possible for the play-offs. He's already been used quite a bit, no reason to risk using him in basically a pre-season game. Adding the caveats that I hate the Giants quite a bit and would love to end the season on a 7-1 run.

I like it, normally I think byes and resting players are a curse but RB is one of the few positions that don’t need the extra reps, especially as much as they’ve already run him down.

I think if they came out at full power and made it a commitment to have a solid drive or two, like you would in the 2nd exhibition game, it would have helped.

But that's obviously not happening.
