This is why I like a guy like Pete Carroll. He'll claim a guy off waivers early in the week and throw him out there to see what he's got.

Yes and rightfully so. The two things are independent of each other. yes they are injured but also yes he has been terrible and made terrible coaching decisions and directly caused two losses based on horrendous decisions.

Maybe Carter has been showing more in practice than Anae. The media spins things the way they like to see it. If Carter hits as an undrafted free agent than he's a better find than Anae; who was the 179th overall pick anyway. It's not like Anae was picked really high to begin with.
