Didn't Murray hurt him in first game vs NYG? or didn't i think of someone else?

Hmm it's possible, but the play that really stands out in my mind is when Murray trucked Kiwanuka on that long run. Straight up put him on his rear.:laugh2: :laugh2:

Wow, I thought Blackburn was solid last year. Surprised to see people so cynical about him, guy would be a major improvement over Connor.

They're only cynical because we've reported interest. It's not actual opinion.

He's a pretty good player.

Yes, we never sign rivals, the tables are turned now. Very solid special teams player and I hear he has impeccable grammar
I think in most cases, "rivals" swap jerseys because they want to stay on the East coast. Their families don't have to move if they go from Philly/NY/Wash.

Leaving the East Coast to go to Texas can be a bit of a culture shock for some.

Yeah, no, that analysis is not "nuff."

Maybe not but theranchsucks has a valid point.

The Giants need LBs yet they are willing to let him walk. The Ravens are letting people walk or releasing them altogether.

Both are recent SB champs and both understand that you can reload through the draft. Jerry and the Cowboys need to do the same instead giving warm bodies (Conner is a good example) unnecessary contracts to fill a need. The focus should be on the draft, not FA.

Your and wrong. I say this because there are many areas on this team that need to be addressed. like the OL,S, and DL. Sam LB is a need as well, but say they do draft a LB. I would think it would be a mid round pick at best, so I don't see a later round pick being relied on to start. Hence, the reason you might need to sign a vet. LB.

would have no problem getting Blackburn. In my view it comes down to what he would be willing to take.

You missed the point. By all means sign him if he does not affect the cap for the future. Do not, however, sign him if he is doomed to be cut down the road due to an inflated contract.

Focus on the draft to fill needs.

Sorry for not being more specific.:

I like the guy and I do think he can play. I would hate to see the Cowboys tie him up to a long-term fat deal, though.

He had a very good year in NY last year.

Was that before or after he got trucked by Demarco? He looks slow and obviously doesn't bring a lot at the point of contact (see previous remark about Murray), but yes, probably better than Connor. Yippee.

You should judge players on a single play.

That is a smart way to go

I thought so too. I don't think they bring him in to be a SAM, maybe as a back up for Lee.

Could be. We definitely need more competition at the SAM spot and someone who can slide over to the middle if there's an injury.
