Some kid from Baylor who transferred last season and is now in the supplemental draft.

Good size and speed

6'4" 225 w 4.3 speed

Reports saying he won't last past the 3rd round in the supplemental draft bc an NFC east team will take him. Skins also interested. Maybe Philly too.

Yeah, this guy seems like one of those you put a low-round bid in on and see if you get lucky. For a third, no thanks. For a sixth, though? Perhaps. Josh Brent in the seventh round? You bet. You can do that all day and improve your team.

We don't really need another high-potential WR to develop, though. Unless we think this guy is significantly better than Andre Holmes could be.

There was an article by Broadus I believe on the supplemental draft and the three players that stand out.

He was high on this kid but did mention he would go in the third. he praised him on his ability to get separation and to go over the middle.

He also said he needs training in route running.

Same order as April's draft. Teams submit a bid on a player if they want him. But they don't know what everyone else is doing. So the Cowboys could submit a 3rd round bid on Gordon and find out that the Patriots submitted a 2nd and they lose him.

If you get the player, you lose that pick in next year's draft.

I just don't believe you'll find a better prospect in the 3rd round next year.

To me it all comes down to the background check. If the people who know him best, coaches and teammates, go to bat for him then I would most definitely submit a 3rd.

I don't know if we're allowed to interview him or not, but that would be crucial if we could.

Doubtful Dallas would be interested because of the drug issues. The Cowboys have been pretty consistent the past few years about avoiding such players.

I want him, too.... the upside appears to be huge. Washington has hardly any draft picks left after acquiring RG3 so it's hard to say what they will do. RG3 knows this kid personally so he might be trying to influence the team to grab him...?
