I know some might get excited just because it's a Corner who went in the first round, but this guy has been a complete bust thus far. Call me crazy, but I would rather have Carr over him
Carr is not as bad a player as everybody makes out, by the way. He's just overpaid, and he's had a few slumps along the way. But he played really well his first year here, and he played really well again the last 6-7 weeks of the season last year, too. In between, there were some really embarrassing days like the Megatron fiasco (and I think that was a coaching error and not really Carr's fault, by the way), and that day he played with the flu against the Sk*ns, and they had to move Scandrick onto Garcon at the end of the game because Carr couldn't cover him on the inside routes.
Other than that, though, he hasn't been that bad.
To the OP, I haven't seen enough of Robinson to have an opinion. But if Carr negotiates down, I'm ok just rolling with what we had last year, plus Mo back and Patmon there to fight over Moore's snaps if he doesn't end up coming back. If Moore leaves, grab a rookie someplace who can give you a little bit on STs. Patmon's got the potential to give us more than Moore did last season, anyway. And Mo can cover, too, if we can keep him in the right situations. The real problem with our defense right now is with the front 7.
