While I realize none of us know who Chris Banjo is, I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I know a better, and available, choice for special teams coach either.
I remember him from his playing days. Texas kid, went to SMU so would be a homecoming for him.

But let’s be real. You have an All Pro kicker in Brandon Aubrey, an all pro kick / punt returner in Turpin.

Just tell them to not hold, pray we sign a solid punter and it’s a cake job lol

I know we’re all joking because this team is a clownshow but I’m not against this hire.

He was Sean Payton’s assistant ST coach last year, and Denver’s ST was a good unit.

Fun Fact. Chris Banjo earned jersey #23 when playing at SMU. This jersey number has to be earned each year - given to the player who stands out for hard work, academic success, leadership, high-character, and most resilient, "no-quit" attitude. It is the number Jerry Levias wore at SMU as the fist black player in the SWC (1966). Levias originally picked the number (at his grandmother's insistence )for Psalm 23.
I have no idea if that means he can coach, but it is a good story.

To be fair i didn't think a whole lot of Brian Schottenheimer when he was hired. Now he's our head coach. Once you're a Jerry guy sky is the limit.

It speaks towards character if nothing else.
