Opening night on NBC Sunday night game book it
It will be a night game. No question about it. ARod against the Cowboys in Texas is too juicy for a Sunday afternoon.
With the Rodgers trade, the juiciest NBC Sunday Night Football opener for the NFL would be Buffalo Bills (Josh Allen) versus New York Jets.
I think that is a lock...therefore Jets @ Cowboys on Turkey Day will be put in place also.

LOL, exactly - great, now Rodgers will ruin Thanksgiving this season. Thought he was out of our hair once he got traded to the AFC, oh well. Cant we play the Skins whatever they are called now, lol , or somebody like that on Turkey Day like usual so we can have a nice holiday.
Yup, the perfect storm of Rodgers and the Jets stout defense is brewing

however, if our team takes care of business that day we’ll know they got what it takes to make a real run this upcoming season

Where do people get the idea the networks want to waste a primetime matchup on Thanksgiving?

Networks want crap on Turkey Day since they'll get the ratings either way.

Very true. Thats a good point, hopefully we are good enough and playing good enough by almost the end of NOV to do so. It just seems like certain guys have our #. When I was a kid just getting into football and the Cowboys it was Montana. Last decade or so its been Rodgers. They finally beat Brady this past season, before that he had our # too - although many teams can say that as well and we didn't have to play Brady very much.
I guess anythings possible, I just won't be fool enough to bet on it though. The whole game I will be just waiting for Rodgers to stick the knife in our hearts as usual.

:lmao:
The fear already of losing on T-Day to AR.

By T-Day Jets fans will be screaming for Zach Wilson to be starting.

I don't care who we play on Thanksgiving. I just hope I can sell my tickets for double, and make a good profit.

Good luck. I found that when I tried to sell mine I was lucky to get 1/2 again as much. Usually sold for 1/4 to 1/3 over. For some reason, for me it was hard to sell them, depending the opponent of course.
Though I tried to get back in town just to go to the game.
My seats were $340 face value though. Probably had something to do with it. I usually included the parking pass in the price as well. And had a voucher for a free game day program.
what helped though since mine was 1st row, I priced them not too far above other rows. Sometimes a little less.

You could always hope for the best, right? If both the Jets and Cowboys are like 10-1, wouldn't you think those tickets would bring in a nice haul? I'm just guessing at records, I don't know what week Thanksgiving is.

I got double last season against the giants, and that was before June 1st.

Great. I am all for that if you can get it. Like getting a game paid for free.
That was my goal, make enough and get to a free game or two.
