If you've never watched Cooper's film from college at North Carolina, you really should. He moved as well as any offensive lineman that I've ever watched. His movement skills jumped off the tape. Now, injuries have been a factor for him, and he may not ever be that same player again, but if he's 80% of his college self, he's still above average in terms of mobility in my opinion.
I think he might be able to bring more flexibility to the run game if his movement skills are anything close to what they once were.
I hope you're right, Stash. I do remember him in College. My hope is that his injury hasn't robbed him of his talent.
I can't wait to see him in action. Hopefully, he will shut me up in preseason... lol
I promise to get in line for apologies to Cooper on this site when that happens.
I was one of the people who wanted La'el to stay at guard, I thought with him at guard and Green at RT our line would be complete. Am happy to say I was wrong, and from what little we have seen, he looks like he is going to absolutely maul people - in the run game. Time will tell how he handles backing up in the passing game. Green can hopefully be healthy enough to hold down the swing tackle position, he should not move inside to guard. That is up for debate between Cooper and Bell IMHO. We have enough bodies to cover the open positions, just pray for no big injuries in camp to derail what they are trying to accomplish.
And my one big hope is - is Collins the second coming of Eric Williams ?
Seems to have the same demeanor .....please, please, please !
Indeed SirHe'll be the best RT we've had here since pre car accident Erik Williams.
Lol! Yup!1st sack he gives up people will be jumping off the cliff in full jump suites...

Then that would justify ruage. But I don't think that was the spirit of DD's post, MattyDepends when it happens.
This is a desperation move, I don't Collins having the balance to play RT in the NFL - I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I think he'll get knocked off his feet and bullied more than we all would like.
Front 7s probably dread Cowboys week
Yah-- I remember seeing an article from 2014 that showed the record of teams the week after they played us. Can't recall the numbers off the top of my head-- but it definitely looked like playing against us took a physical toll and the bruises showed up after

so to you there is no way a player that started at LT and was outstanding in college (toughest conference in college football), was considered by virtually everyone to be a first rd pick at Tackle, cannot make it at RT because somehow in your view he has balance problems which as far as I can tell no one else thinks so?Depends when it happens.
