I thought the Cowboys were going to convert an OT to OG with Edoga.
- However, I pulled up the All-22 to review Edoga in 2022 with the Falcons...
- He played LG in his 1 start in Atlanta.

Review:
- Either I'm on crack or Edoga was quite good in that game.
- I keep thinking that I'm missing something, but I watched all of his snaps.
- He has very quick feet.
- Pass protection looked good.
- They often used outside zone run plays and Edoga's quickness was an asset on those.
- He looked reasonably strong and straight ahead run blocking.

Summary:
- Quicker than McGovern
- More power than Connor Williams

Cowboys Plans:
- If healthy, all of Tyron, Tyler and Steele will start.
- Edoga appears to be a legit option once Tyron gets injured.

Good post! There was a story a couple of weeks ago that said the Cowboys didn't view this as a camp body at all. They legit like him to be a solid backup and possible starter if needed. It kicked the need to draft a OL down into the 3rd round. So I wasn't surprised at all to see the first few rounds pass on by without the Cowboys drafting a OL.

I hope you’re right buddy. I mean Edoga has the talent. OG could be a more natural position for him.

I was trying to tell others that their plan was play the best 5, have a contingent plan when Tyron misses time. All they need is a capable spot starter. This could come via the draft or in-house. I know they tried to acquire Edoga last season at the trade deadline. Also, the best fa Guard is remains unsigned in Risner from the Broncos.

Former 3rd round pick out of USC. His issue has been injuries… not performance in his chances!

I've been hoping for weeks they'd work a deal with Risner. I figured he was too expensive (?) and thought (hoped) they'd draft someone in the 2nd. Well, that didn't happen so maybe there's hope for Risner after all. I don't feel a great starter is on the team yet, not counting Tyler Smith of course.
