** It looks as if Marc Colombo will play. The right tackle is going through his warm-up and has his game pants on. I'd be stunned if he's on the inactive list. Colombo practiced Thursday and Friday despite a left ankle injury he suffered in the first quarter vs. Green Bay.

**The Renaissance Center, where the Cowboys stayed Saturday night, had more fans than any other hotel I can remember. I'm not sure I've seen more Cowboys' jerseys at another road game this season. And fans are standing six deep where the Cowboys are warming up inside Ford Field.

**Ford Field oddity: almost all of the suites are on one side of the field. But I do like this place. It has an old-time field to it that a lot of domes lack.

**Ran into owner and GM Jerry Jones and his son, Jerry Jr., in the elevator this morning. He expects the Lions to try and throw it all over the place on his team today, even with Detroit missing Roy Williams.

It does look like Colombo will play, or at least start the game anyway, but if things are going our way score wise, I would like to see us rest Colombo and give McQuistan some game time.
