Note, I tried to load this up on Microsoft Word or Excel, but couldnt figure out how. So, this is best I could do. Was waiting for silverbears great excel sheet, but he might be busy. So, I attempted at my feebile attempt to put a list of players cowboys have looked at. I used Lindy's draft magazine, with Sdogo's previous chart of players looked at and all youve added with size and speed and projected draft picks taken in rounds. I might have missed a few players we have looked at for instance Aldon Smith, I think we have looked at him, but couldnt find it anywhere.

very true, but i think thats where the 2 te's comes in that we looked at
either one probably due to be taken in 6th to 7th round

i think jason garrett wants to go to more TE formations, and possibly use Gronkski as fullback

but this year, is loaded with fullbacks, im hoping cowboys take either one from pittsburgh or stanford

If you look at the receivers being looked at, you can see they are looking at smaller slot type guys (6'0" and under).. With the exception of Baldwin and Holmes.

The Baldwin visit really intrigued me because he's talented and big but doesnt fit the slot need.

he is more of a 3rd to 4th rounder by some other mags, i was in a hurry trying to post list, while posting other stuff

you know how some sites have like OC Wisnewkis 2nd round, but some have him down to 6th, so draft sites differ
He reminds me of a young erik williams without nasty demeanor

since cowboys are looking at cecil shorts and gates, i think they want a speedy wr, but if they cant get one, they will draft or sign a free agent like a miles austin or sam hurd, possibly someone to fill the slot that crayton used to do,

This time of year the top prospects for each team keep changing. Last week, USC offensive tackle Tyron Smith was the flavor of the week and now we already see another name linked to Dallas.

Missouri DE/OLB Aldon Smith is the latest prospect to be paired with the Cowboys and the ninth overall pick.

According to the National Football Post:

[The Cowboys] would reportedly “love” to pair Smith with DeMarcus Ware “off the edge.” NFL Network’s Warren Sapp recently compared Smith to Ware, and Dallas must see whatever he’s seeing. The Cowboys still seem most likely to draft an offensive lineman or cornerback at No. 9, but Smith must now at least be considered a possibility.
