The team does not point fingers at each other when bad things happen like the Harris fumble. They pick each other up.

In the game thread people wanted Harris benched. I saw dez with him on the sideline encouraging him. Some time after he made a nice catch. I think he had another one later called back by penalty. Maybe it was the same play idk.

But this team seems to have an attitude of a brotherhood - the kind where you don't leave a brother behind in battle - you pick him up and carry him if u have to until he can stand on his own again. They don't give up on each other.

That is a winning attitude.

Agree. Like Jeezy said "love each other". It shows.

Not sure. Mickey made a point of lavishing praise on Cahill's job with the site content last week, and I know Cahill said he was traveling to the game. I'm just assuming the plane left too early for them to get it up and the home staff just added the NFL edited footage, but it could have been another reason entirely.

No excuse in this age of technology and the team's resources.

Gotta enjoy the win but we're going to be facing a ticked off Giants team that just got shut out. Need to stay focused.

Great, historic win
. :thumbup::yourock:

That's fine but for once we have an offensive line that can weather the storm and run it down their throats for 250 yards! That's the difference. In the past I would be worried about a trap game but I think this team is better than that and have learned from past cheese eating buffets. It won't be close.

Great analogy......

Nice to see that locker room excitement and cameraderie these days. They're obviously a happy bunch of players and their excitement is certainly well-deserved. New York will assuredly be pissed about being shut out Sunday but if we play like we did in Seattle, we should be OK. Let's hope there;s no letup on our part, though. You never know when a division rival is liable to jump up and bite you in the hiney, but I'm betting we'll handle 'em, come what may.

It won't be close if we eliminate the turnovers. If we continue to give away the ball we might have to win another squeaker even though we dominate practically the whole game. That's the good news so far. We have been so dominant at times that we can weather the storm. I'm loving this team.

I was one of those who wanted to see Harris sit out for a while after fumbling the fair catch. But ultimately, I'm glad the team sticks by each other and helps each other up in these situations.

By the way. I'm not calling out posters for that. I was thinking special teams blunders were going to blow an otherwise great performance. And I was really bothered by it too.

My point is that Harris has been a fan favorite at times and he had a bad game - so much so that posters wanted him benched. Because he did hurt the teams chances.

But this team is so different from the past in that they pick each other up and keep fighting for each other rather than point fingers and implode on each other.

I love your sig. You should do a running tally of people he does this to

Thanks. I stole it shamelessly from one of the Seahawks boards last night. Yeah, it could be a whole series of commercials, including the one from the 3-and-20 to Williams this week. :)

It won't last long, but I took everyone off Ignore just because I wondered how people were going to react today. The silence of some is funny.

Don't look now but the worst defense in NFL History is hitting. The worst Head Coach in History has built a unified winner. The worst GM in History isn't getting fired today. This team deserves every bit of the praise it is getting right now.

I am enjoying today, but it really has nothing to do with feeling vindication about Garrett. I don't feel vindicated. There's 10 games left and a division game this week. A lot can happen to derail us if we let down. I like what I see, but I have liked it for a long time. I took a lot of crap for saying I could see what was being built here. None of it got on me. 5-1 feels very good, but we're not done.

They need a legit tech guy to take care of this stuff. Hell, I'll do it.

*submits resume*

OK, Heisy -- I'm going to send you all my stupid-old-man tech questions.

Yeah, that's refreshing in the NFL, where prima donnas and bling and disrespect flourish.

We've been taught those unity concepts since our first teams in grade school, but big money and egos have dominated, even infiltrating college ball, where just the possibility of payday has hurt team unity.
