The loss to Packers dropping us to 6-3 is more painful to some fans than I imagined. A matchup that concerned me going in with a proven team with their backs against the wall. This 3 game stretch after the bye was a concern for me as well.

Vikings are coming off a huge win in Buffalo with a NFC 2nd best record at 8-1. And this all of a sudden becomes a game we need much more than we probably expected . But that’s what an upset loss in Green Bay presents.

We felt at the bye at 6-2 that we were practically a lock for a Wild Card with still a path to win the division. Now , overcoming a 3 game deficit to Phil ( pending tonight’s outcome) seems even less likely. And a loss to Minn all of a sudden drops us back more into a mix with rest of NFC fighting for a Wild Card slot.

Then the pressure mounts heading into Thanksgiving looking at the potential of 6-5 square in the face. My, how things can turn quickly.

I think they win at Minn.

I also think that DET is actually a very bad matchup for NY -- Lions score a ton of points, and I'm not sure Giants offense with Jones, Barkley and literally no one else can keep up even though the Detroit defense admittedly sucks.

No hangover from Lambeau?

Our run defense stiffens against Minn and NY?

Defense goes back to dominating?

No turnovers on offense?

How do you see the turn around coming?
Still a good team in Dallas. They will regroup and beat the Vikings with a big outing from Dak and the defense getting back to "do your job" football. The Cowboys are just better than the Giants and sweep them.

And what would it take for this not to happen ?

No Hall of Fame QBs on the schedule for one thing.. and no emotional return to his home of 13 years for the head coach to cause him to lose his mind on some game time decision making. No matter how much people wanna crown Kirk Cousins.. he's still Kirk Cousins.. I'm sure the coaching staff will watch tape of the last game and say to each other.. Why the hell did we throw it so much when we were ahead most of the game? And then everybody will look at Moore.... 40 runs against Minny.. 20 for Zeke, 15 for Pollard.. maybe even 4-5 for Davis.. book it.

FWIW, I think that the Cowboys are better than the Giants.

And I also think Jones has had a much better year than Dak with way worse talent around him.

Yeah no. This team will be 6-5 going into December. Giants and Vikes are too much for this team to handle. Please do not get your hopes up. It’s why this circus has been operating the way it has for so long.

It would be so cowboy of them to win this upcoming game. Just like it was so cowboy of them to lose yesterday.

Might as well tank the Minnesota game to be rested for the Thanksgiving game.
