RonnieT24.....do you honestly believe our OC has shown evidence of self-critque to call a decent game plan since he was granted the role? I have no confidence that the trickeration, strange player packages, odd calls, unwillingness to run in the redzone, or decision-making will change. And as much criticism everybody else gets......he is held without any accountability to outcoach somebody.....some time. You have lost me on this one.

Well some of this is absolutely HOPING that's what we do. I also know that we have seen in the past that Moore will get a good butt chewing either from Jerry or McCarthy and kneejerk to 180 degrees off what he did last game. That's what I am counting on more than anything else. It's not that he's self aware enough to get more of a feel for what he is supposed to be doing.. just that he will want to show "See I listened" in this next game. So I expect the game plan to be extremely run heavy.. at least early on.. and I don't expect it to change if we don't fall far behind. Not that we won't still see some bead scratching play calls.. I just think for this one week we will see less of them.

8-3 heading into December.

Right...a lot of us stopping the run isn't because we lack talent..It's mainly due to coaching and alignment.

That was the worst defensive performance in two years...even if we do fall to 6-5 (which I highly doubt). We have the Texans, Wash, Colts, and the Jaguars left.

playoff picture in the NFC will more than likely be.

1.) Eagles/Vikings
2.) Vikings/Eagles
3.) Seahawks
4.) Buccaneers

WC1: Cowboys (We jumped out too big of a lead, we're not missing the playoffs)
WC2.: Giants (Same as above)
WC3: 49ers (They have a tough 3 game stretch of Dolphins, Buccaneers, and Seahawks..and they already have 4 losses).

Notable teams: Packers beat us, but slip ups happen. They are 4-6 and I think dug a hole too big. They still have the Titans,Eagles, Dolphins and Vikings left.
All the Cowboys have to do is finish 11-6 and the will make the playoffs. Truthfully 10-6 cause I believe the teams that have 4-6 losses will lose a few more games.

I look for 49ers to take the West and Seahawks will be scrambling for a WC. We shall see.

49ers are my SB pick. They have an uncanny way of finding ways to in. They exhibit exceptional mental toughness and have the best team culture in the league, IMO.

The loss to Packers dropping us to 6-3 is more painful to some fans than I imagined. A matchup that concerned me going in with a proven team with their backs against the wall. This 3 game stretch after the bye was a concern for me as well.

Vikings are coming off a huge win in Buffalo with a NFC 2nd best record at 8-1. And this all of a sudden becomes a game we need much more than we probably expected . But that’s what an upset loss in Green Bay presents.

We felt at the bye at 6-2 that we were practically a lock for a Wild Card with still a path to win the division. Now , overcoming a 3 game deficit to Phil ( pending tonight’s outcome) seems even less likely. And a loss to Minn all of a sudden drops us back more into a mix with rest of NFC fighting for a Wild Card slot.

Then the pressure mounts heading into Thanksgiving looking at the potential of 6-5 square in the face. My, how things can turn quickly.
But the other teams contending are in an uphill battle not to fall out of the playoff race...two more losses for some of will put put them on the edge.
For example, as good as the Packers win was this past Sunday, they host the Titans Thursday night, then go to Philadelphia the Sunday after Thanksgiving - two tough opponents GB must beat just to get back to .500 at 6-6.
The upcoming Monday night in Mexico City, either the 49es suffer a sixrh loss or the Cardinals pick up a 7th loss; either way, it's a double setback because it will be both a division and conference defeat no matter who is the loser.

Biggest winner out of week 10 was the Commanders...they follow up an upset win last night on the road with a trip to Houston, then a home game versus the Falcons. Washington could finish November with a 7-5 record -pretty good for a team that started out 1-4. Some NFL watchers would declare they are one of the hottest teams in the league if that happens.
