yeah, i know, its www.cowboys.scout.com

but they say through multiple sources the cowboys are looking at TE Ron Gronskowski strongly, possibly if another team offers a draft pick for bennett the cowboys might jump

if you remember, the cowboys have looked at WRs, and Tes strongly
they looked at the TE/FB from Wisconsin
they looked at Harbor, and they have looked at Dorin Dickerson

You want to know the truth. I would be absolutely shocked if Dallas does not look to take a TE/H-Back at some point in this draft and likely early..... Bennett trade or no Bennett trade.

I'd be wary of "Gronk." He's already missed his junior season due to back surgery and it will almost assuredly become a problem again in the future.

Don't need another TE.... And we would be lucky to get a third for Bennett.

Pass, bad back, I'm thinking LaFluer all over again. BTW Lande has him number 1 TE over Gresham in SN Mag.

I like this guy - a lot.

But I will not spend a high pick on him or any other TE.

I think it was Mosley who reported weeks ago that they like the TE from USC alot.

me too, im worried about his spinal issue;

the site said that the cowboys were going over Gronk's medical records very strongly and tapes of him; so might be something to this; since cowboys have looked at other TEs in the draft like Dickerson, Harbor, Anthony McCoy USC, Garrett Graham and now Gonk;

so i said either look at a te or fullback drafted this year for sure;

I think Bennett has alot of value for teams in need of a TE.

My preference is that we dont trade him, but with the questions on so many of these TE's and Bennett's considerable skill level at not only receiving but blocking, someone would definitely give us something decent for him I suspect. He'd be a sure fire starter elsewhere, and IMO will put up some bigtime numbers once he becomes THE guy.

:hammer: Bingo! we have to hit on our first 2 draft picks for sure, they have to be studs to play for 12 years or more; not be injury prone like LaFluer was

you know, im just wondering more and more since the dolpins made that trade for brandon marshall; if the cowboys might have some deal to trade up with dolphins. Somehow Bennett and Barber might be involved in this trade with Miami

I like Gronkowski, just not his back.

Plus I'm sick of dishing out second rounders for te's only to trade em a couple years later

this is hos's guy, he says he is witten 2.0 basically. ill take witten 2.0 over antonio gates 2.0 anyday

yeah i know its hos guy, but the spinal/back issue scares me; if we go TE in first or 2nd round, we need a player that doesnt or have had injury history. And can play for us 12 years whille being a stud of a player

we just have to hit on those 2 first draft picks, if we want to advance in the playoffs, and superbowl

they cant be developmental guys like our players we drafted last year.

any TE we take is going to be a development project no matter where we take him simply because we have witten. there really is no need for two great TE on a team but for 2nd round pick at that position you expect greatness thats why(on top of the immature stuff) people are down on martyb.

we have bigger needs in the 2nd but if we traded marty for a 2 then i wouldnt be too upset if we take him though i would rather just roll with phillips as #2 and use that 2nd on another need.

if the boys do their homework about his injury and still take him i wont be worried
