USC cornerback Kevin Thomas told SIRIUS radio the Dallas Cowboys have been ``talking to me a lot'' in advance of the draft.

Thomas said the Cowboys are among five teams that have shown the most interest. The others, he said, are San Diego, Green Bay, Cleveland and Indianapolis.

Thomas, 23, is likely to be available on the third day of the draft, which begins with the fourth round. Thomas is listed at 6 feet and 192 pounds and said he ran a 4.41 in the 40 during USC's recent pro day.

Thomas had three interceptions as a junior in 2008 but none this season. He is considered to be a better-than-average tackler for a cornerback.

Thomas is a good pickup from the 4th and a steal in the 5th.

Thomas is a good pickup from the 4th and a steal in the 5th.

Totally agree....

I think he'd be a good gamble in that area.
