I like the direction this team is headed. They're focused on building a team which resembles a community. That doesn't come from tearing it down and rebuilding every two years, it requires commitment. Like with anything in life, excellence requires commitment. Greatness can be a coincidence, but excellence is never an accident.

Loved how when scouting players they've been focusing on the "high IQ" players. Its an approach unlike what any other team is doing.

Now, that's the ticket for a fan...

This isn't rocket science.
Just adding Romo, Dez, and Scandrick is a great start.
After that, they have a lot of younger guys that should get better.
Lawrence, Jones, Gregory, Collins, Crawford, etc
Then they clearly upgraded DT.
Come on, of course they should get better.
But there's still plenty of holes.

Not sure why people are so befuddled by this obvious point.

Byron Jones, Demarcus Lawrence, Anthony Hitchens, La'el Collins, Randy Gregory, Chaz Green....does it not make sense that young players can get better and improve the team?

Then you add a healthy Scandrick, Romo, Dez, and Dunbar back into the fold?

Then you draft really well with your first three picks? After signing Thornton and a couple new free agents?

Sounds like a solid plan to me.

I don't think it's so far fetched that many of the young players can become serious contributors. It's also going to be much more important for them to do so, for this season, than what we do in the draft. This time of the year we are all excited about what the draft can bring but the biggest impact will need to come from guys like jones, Collins,Dlaw and others
