Panthers
Seahawks
Texans
Commanders
Titans
Colts

Seashawks, Texans and Colts turned out to be playoff caliber teams. Fairly dominant teams.

Panthers, Commanders and Titans were fringe playoff teams.

Looking back the losses don't look quite as bad as they did at the time.

Commanders were a playoff team that we should have swept. They didn't make the playoffs in large part due to being decimated by injuries.

And it’s quite obvious Dallas benefited greatly from Washington’s injury plagued stretch run. But those things happen in the NFL...

The only loss I feel bad about losing to is the Panthers. We coulhd have won that game had we just not been completely inept.

The Skins were a division rival and were hot, we kinda got boned out of a chance to win but it happens. Plus sweeping the division for any team is never an easy task. Seahawks are just a tough team even on their bad days. The Titans were just surging, they destroyed the Patriots the next week too. The Colts... We had a six game win streak and they were desperately fighting for a playoff spot, again... It happens to the best of 'em, just got our butts kicked. Then the Texans are just a good team that outplayed us that day, I really think we can beat them, but nothing to be ashamed of in that loss.

That Panthers game though just... I shake my head thinking about it because it was such an opportunity to start off the season right and we just blew it on so many levels against a team that really wasn't all that good in the long run.

So in retrospect the two most disappointing losses (again retrospect, taking everything "at the time" out of it) imo is clearly Panthers and Colts, for different reasons.

I also remember that the preseason was extremely bad, we had lost Fredbeard for the year (although we didn't know it at the time) and I think Zack Martin had hyper extended his knee. Also there were reports that Tyron was again having back issues.

There were so many things influx it took awhile to find footing, and really it wasn't until Amari Cooper that the offense finally started to move the ball effectively.

The beginning of the season was started so poorly. Im still kinda stunned that this became a 10-6 team.

Dallas should have beaten the Panthers, Texans, and swept the Skins but crap happens.

All those losses sucked. In fact it was worse watching the second time around, and not advisable if one wishes to avoid depression.

I hate this type of mindset, so because a team that they lost to turned out to be good means we just excuse the loss? Just because some of those teams became playoff teams doesn't negate the fact that the Cowboys couldn't beat them.

See a trend in those losses??

4 of those teams had mobile QBs that use their legs which our defense struggles to contain.

Cam / Watson / Mariota and Wilson.

The most accurate one is coming to town Saturday night for our first playoff game just in case nobody knows!
