The talent to win is there on the team. What we lack is talented coaches…MM is a fraud. KM is not a great play caller. But whatever. Other coaches get more out of their team with less. Our head coach announces publicly that they will go soft in practice and they almost get beat by a 1 win team … see the problem…

1000% This is the case going waaaay back.

Sources say that following the signing of Hilton, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones called Beckham to make a run at signing him. In fact, since Beckham left Dallas after his free-agent visit, it has been Jones speaking to him directly almost exclusively, discussing a possible signing.

When the Cowboys signed Hilton, a member of the organization actually asked Hilton, "How would you feel if we signed Beckham, too," according to a source with knowledge of the team's actions. Hilton's response was along the lines of, "That's great. I'm here to win a Super Bowl." Hilton would have been totally fine with it.

The Cowboys might have been Beckham's landing spot (as compared to his other suitors: the Giants and Bills), but the timing hasn't worked out and neither have the contractual discussions.
LMAO, what do they expect Hilton to say? Or Lamb or Gallup?

Stephen told Jerry they only have cap space to sign OBJ to a veterans minimum deal.

Jerry thinks he can convince OBJ to sign for the minimum...Jerry scribbled something on a napkin...

With all of the Beckham and Hilton pursuit, ..Cowboys are trying to acquire more separation speed to their WR unit.

They won't get it from Tolbert and Washington this year ...but depending upon their future plans on OJB and Hilton - i really look for the
team to pursue much more speed to their WR unit in the NFL draft.

Nothing says commitment to winning like an 80 yr old part time GM with an obsession for WRs.

He really does have a thing for WR's. Too bad he doesn't have an obsession for defensive linemen instead.

Our offense should be based on the run game and short passes to our TEs, with a sprinkle of our WRs. Adding OBJ on top of Hilton just makes our offense unbalanced
