I think Philadelphia may get it again. They did two years in Chicago. Another year in Philly and then two in Dallas would be my guess.

I agree, Chicago was successful, Philly was successful this year so I think another year in Philly and then to Dallas for 2019 and 2020

Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said the team has made a bid to host next year's NFL Draft at both facilities, AT&T Stadium and The Ford Center at The Star, but there has not been a timeframe on when the league might make an announcement. "They know how we can configure for X amount of people," Jones said, "and then they'll come back to use what they want which night."

Thanks for posting...

But the surrounding area sucks though. Awesome place to live, sure. But nothing to do as a visitor in Frisco.
North Dallas is only a 30 minute drive down the North Dallas toll road. Actually, I've made it in 25 minutes before.

Are you talking about far north Dallas/Addison? That might be a little closer than 30 minutes.

Uptown/Downtown is probably about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic.

I was mostly talking about Frisco though. Have you been out that way lately? West Frisco/Little Elm residential has exploded, and so far infrastructure has yet to catch up. And it's only getting worse as Toyota is getting ready to start transplanting in 250 families a week for the next month or so.

It just seems like Jerry should wait a couple of years when his vision is complete is all I'm saying. Because right now there is nothing to do and travel would be a pain.

I think they gotta have the previous host to be considered first or something like that. Going out here to philly though yes we got booed and stuff but damn it's going to take a lot out of Jerry to make it better. It seemed like a whole NFL experience celebration, I really enjoyed myself and I went by myself lol until an hour til it ended met up with a cousin. Awesome experience, there's actually nice pigeon fans out there lmao.

Yeah, Addison and the Galleria area. The Frisco area has exploded. I got a tip when I was a young man in the mid 80s to buy as much as that farm land I could buy. If I would have only listened. Now anytime I hear the word Frisco, it's like tasting a mouthful of salt.

Location is their advantage. You have several major NFL cities within a reasonable drive there.

I found it funny though that Philly fans were bragging after the draft about how no arrests were made. Which should show you what kind of a dump that place is for that to be a victory for the city.

Wish they could hold it in Downtown Dallas like the Arts District instead of some boring suburb. Oh well.

I gotta say...Phili fans did come out in huge numbers. 100k+ I think.
We should have the draft at one location, nit do read it out between Frisco and the stadium. They are too far apart especially in traffic

Once Toyota and the other companies complete their move in, that traffic from 4-6 is gonna be horrendous

If the draft is in Philly once more I can live with that.

The Cowboys will send in their secret weapon again:

Watching that NEVER gets old!!!

It would be great if they could talk Roger into doing it to them next year!!

So I was out at The Star yesterday for a corporate event and got a full tour. Everything was impressive BUT there is still a crap load of construction going on around the area. I wish the Cowboys would slow down and pushback their bid to 2019 because honestly they're not ready for the draft. I know a year is a long time, but the area around it needs some serious work and more entertainment for the thousands of visitors that will be in town. I don't want this city to be embarrassed like we were with the super bowl disaster. Jerry really needs to dot his i's and cross his t's on this one because I don't want people to say Philly outdid us a year from bc everything was too rushed. Jmo.
