I wonder if he get's some sort of payment when he signs on that he gets to keep when released - could be quite the lucrative seesaw for him! lol

Don't feel too bad for him. He's already made more than guys that are on the practice squad for the entire year. He makes about 25K for each week that he's on the 53 man roster while the practice squad guys make about 6K. They Cowboys did him a favor last week by keeping him on the 53 until Saturday instead of cutting him on Tuesday. He got an extra 25K for that.

They wanted Jack Crawford to play, but he's injured. They just signed and played Edwards when J. Crawford and D-Law were not available.

He has to be on the 53 man for 10 games.

My guess is that we pretty much knew that we'd not use him that much when Lawrence got back. The team we traded with probably figured that would be the case anyway.

Plus, Dallas has two extra sevenths this year- they swapped a six for a seven with Baltimore in the Rolando McClain trade; and have San Diego's seventh from the Sean Lissemore trade two years ago.

There is some question about that 10 game stipulation. Some people think that once he was released from the 53 the first time, that the trade is then null.
