NE is playing this one smart. He played OK vs a bunch of 2nd and 3rd stringers in the last game vs BUFF last year, so they're trying to dupe some team into thinking he's got great NFL talent. He does not. They want to Matt Cassell him. Trade him after a decent showing while he's got some value to some GM who's easy to dupe.

If they are seriously thinking about spending a day two pick on Joe Milton, I'm drafting Tyler Shough instead. He's 25 and might be the most ready to start right now in the draft....if he stays healthy. He would be a perfect backup right now that could step in and win if needed.

Milton = Ryan Leaf. He lacks the skillset to succeed in the NFL. Rather have a heady QB like Rush, tho a better arm would certainly be good.
