Cowboys may be eyeing Joe Milton

If we give anything higher than a 5th for him, I will throw up .
It would make the mingo for a 4th look like an absolute steal.

Hey, maybe we're trading for him as a TE!!! He MIGHT have success at that position in the NFL. At least he'd have a shot.

It's worse really when ya think about it.
Because even if speaking of developing a more talented prospect than Milton ...
Do you actually trust anyone on the current staff to teach a modern 2025 style passing game to the guy?

Yeah, me neither.

No idea. We really have no clue as to what Schotty and his OC bring to the game.

Never say never with Jerry.

I think Drew Henson was a 6th round pick and we gave up a 3rd for him.
I agree Jerry can be surprisingly dim, but in reality Henson was only drafted that low because he was already playing pro baseball. He was drafted despite that just to have rights to him in case he decided to give up on baseball.

Hutchinson wasn't drafted in the 6th round, and in fact wasn't drafted at all. And Jerry did not trade a 3rd rounder for him, he was an undrafted free agent signing.
Sorry, just tossing names out there. Not interested enough to look it up. Easy to narrow the parameters so narrow that answers won't work. Let's see, 3rd round pick for a former 6th on the 2nd Tuesday of the 8th month only when it's raining w/ occasional hail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just because Jerry hasn't done something does not mean he won't. That's called a non sequitar(does not follow).

Our primary hope is that Jerry doesn't start giving up future 1sts as he did for Galloway, which made it a certainty that we would not win or rebuild during the Campo years.

The point wasn't that the parameters had to be exact, but it didn't make much sense to toss out names that you don't even have an idea were even in the ballpark of what we were talking about. If you had come up with something close it would have been worth discussing.

i'd throw a high 5th this year and a 4th next year with a conditional if he plays and reaches markers, it can move to a 3rd pick. We have NO backups as of right now.
Why?

Pittsburgh only gave up a 6th for Justin Fields last year. To top it off they are now projected to receive a 4th round comp pick for him which could become a 3rd.

In Dallas we will give up a 4th for a QB who barely saw any action and likely will get nothing in return.

I agree…I was just answering the question.
