When the Dallas Cowboys selected Dorance Armstrong in the fourth round of the draft, many fans and observers didn’t see it coming. Defensive end wasn’t really high on the Cowboys list of needs, and there wasn’t a lot of buzz about Armstrong coming into the draft. The fact that the Cowboys war room was over-the-top excited when making the pick, along with the the news that they actually tried trading up previously to get Armstrong, made the faithful all the more curious about this newcomer to the team.

I don't know much about the kid, to be honest, but it can't hurt to have depth and/or healthy competition. If he can turn into a "draft steal", then hell yeah!!!!

Bring on the season!!!

Already was a bit of a steal, since the Cowboys tried to move up into the 3rd round to get him but he fell to Dallas in the 4th.

Glad we didn' trade up. That would have put a target on his back from fan faithful. Now he can just come in with a lot less resentment

great numbers as a junior. was dealing with an injury and change in defensive philosophy in his senior year. been reading that is why his senior year numbers were way off from his junior year stats.

The Sooners would be absolutely killing them, and he'd be playing 100% to the very end.

I think his senior troubles had more to do with him being their only threat rather than his weight.

I don't know if he was a steal, but I do know the KU defense was decimated by injuries early in the season and they essentially adjusted their scheme to account for said injuries and Armstrong's responsibilities changed.

IF he lights it up then the Cowboys think long and hard about 20 mil per year for Demarcus.

Man i hope that this guy turns into the best thing since sliced bread, but expecting this guy to be a DWare starter kit is probably too optimistic
