Does anybody find it funny how the media operates?

On the first week of the bye several of them gave us a hush hush assurance that C-Mike was going to be the starter when the Giants game arrived. They implied they had inside info.

Then this past week they started backing away from their statements or pretending they never said anything in the 1st place.

In reality it was all based on the fact that in the 1st week of the bye that C-Mike got some reps ahead of Randle in practice. Then in the 2nd week it was back to Randle getting the 1st reps. There was never any type of "inside" information.

Just beware anytime Broaddus implies that he knows something, he's probably just guessing.

Side note:
In retrospect it appears that the Cowboys were just sending a message to Randle. Based on his interview and attitude this week it seems obvious they challenged him in some way to quit being a knucklehead. He actually gave a reasonable interview this week; whereas in the past he's tried to go with the Beast Mode approach of just repeating the same answer over and over.

Some of the radio guys said that Randle even acknowledged them in passing this week; whereas in training camp he basically gave them the finger when the team forced him to do an interview with them.

Again I will add what does that say about Randle that you need a message sent to you? Did he have some entitlement? Do you really want a RB that you need to send a message to?

I think what irrates me is we are treating this idiot like he was some first rd out of this world talent. He's a dime a dozen RB that just doesn't get it with a me me attitude. Ridiculous how this club is handling this situation

Pete Carroll had the same opinion of C-Mike that you have of Randle.

Michael has a cult following amougnst Cowboy fans. How much interest do you think Fish and Broaddus got speculating VS reporting Randle was still the starter

Don't care that Randle gets the start, just get Michael in there a bit quicker than normal.

Randle starting isn't the problem. Randle starts great. It's those carries after the first 7 or so that seem to suck.

Broaddus gets paid either way. Does he really need to go the tabloid route?

I'm sorry I didnt know that was about C-Mike This was about Randle.

I'm not certain I understand this response.

Many Cowboys fans think Randle is an underachieving knucklehead and want him replaced with C-Mike.

Pete Carroll the Head Coach of the Seahawks thought that C-Mike was an underachieving knucklehead and wanted him replaced with a 34 year old RB.

And also Fisher has been saying that Randle has won the job back with a strong week of practice.

How do you know what they said wasnt accurate when they said it?

As a guest on Fishers show?

Broaddus has a contract with the Cowboys and with 105.3 the Fan. I don't know if it's all one employment agreement or two separate agreements considering that 105.3 is the Cowboys flagship station.

Fisher on the other hand has a website where he sells "premium" content.

There is a financial incentive for Fisher to claim "inside" information. Broaddus only does it for some type of ego driven reasons.

I didn't bring up C-Mike I asked a direct question about Randle and made a statement about the front office. But for some reason you went off about Pete and C-Mike for some validation that had nothing to do with my response. I'm not sure what I said that was hard to understand. I want to draft a RB. Randle is a waste of time if he needs motivation to get it he shouldn't be toting the rock for this team! If C-Mike doesn't get it and our coaches have to motivate him as well he doesn't need to be toting the rock for this team either.

But to use some information from another team about a player we acquired for some type of Randle validation is ridiculous.

We have not heard our coaches having to do that with C-Mike Dunbar or DMC.

Make sense now?
