Does anybody find it funny how the media operates?
On the first week of the bye several of them gave us a hush hush assurance that C-Mike was going to be the starter when the Giants game arrived. They implied they had inside info.
Then this past week they started backing away from their statements or pretending they never said anything in the 1st place.
In reality it was all based on the fact that in the 1st week of the bye that C-Mike got some reps ahead of Randle in practice. Then in the 2nd week it was back to Randle getting the 1st reps. There was never any type of "inside" information.
Just beware anytime Broaddus implies that he knows something, he's probably just guessing.
Side note:
In retrospect it appears that the Cowboys were just sending a message to Randle. Based on his interview and attitude this week it seems obvious they challenged him in some way to quit being a knucklehead. He actually gave a reasonable interview this week; whereas in the past he's tried to go with the Beast Mode approach of just repeating the same answer over and over.
Some of the radio guys said that Randle even acknowledged them in passing this week; whereas in training camp he basically gave them the finger when the team forced him to do an interview with them.
