Hey Arch:

I'm still waiting for all the file thumbnails to populate. Right now I'm showing you have 1518 video files and counting. That is awesome.

I recognize many of the file names are ones that I was hosting on the server at Cowboys Media. However, many of the file names are not names that I have given to files. So I'm wondering if they were renamed or if they are video that has not been in circulation.

I'm guessing they are mostly clips, since the number of files is huge and the total Gig size isn't as large.

It's great to see someone contributing so much content. I hope you will remain in the circle as often and as long as you can afford.

Everyone should be stoked when they see this.

I have 200 gig of various files. Some maybe dupes. It probably needs a tidy up. It appears to be still hashing.

I've accumulated them from various sources, including your website.

Make certain you post your Public Key so everyone can add you as a friend. And you will need to receive their public key and add it to your account as well. Then they can access your collection.

One concern will be that if you have the duplicate files that I am now hosting, the number of seeds will be divided between your version of "Americas Game" and my version of the same file. The best approach would be for everyone to download from the same hash to speed up the torrent. Having two separate hashes for the same file would water down the seeding of the files.

Not sure really.

The stats and counters are not very accurate. I have been uploading to everyone who is connected, and at times it indicates that I am uploading 0kbps. I know this is not the case because there are peers downloading the files and I'm the only source. Not long after I question it, it starts showing normal upload speeds.

If I were you, I would remain connected to the file and stay on-line. The counter should eventually show activity.

Also, make certain not to rename or move the files you downloaded. Leave them where they are, and everyone will benefit from your seeding of the files.

Good question. Unfortunately it doesn't alert you, so as you said, it's best that everyone adds everyone.

There are over 100 people who have added my key. I have about 12 people on average who have there One Swarm application open and on-line at any given time. It's somewhat like people rotating shifts.

If everyone would leave the application open in their system trays much like you do with you virus software, then you would never notice it there and everyone would benefit.

The main issue seems to be that everyone hasn't added each others keys. Go to Cowboys Media http://cowboysmedia.com and follow the instructions carefully. Make sure you post your key in the master list at the new forum once you have registered. There are members from all over the internet that are in our circle not merely here at Cowboys Zone. Your list of friends in your One Swarm application would more than double if you got on the master list and ADDED EVERYONE.
