Interesting. He may be a solid fill in/usable LB. He actually had 150+ tackles last year and is unemployed. Former 1st round pick in 2018.

Signed with the eagles earlier this year and asked for his release to find another club to sign with.

Some of those plays show some pretty crazy recognition and ability to beat blocks.

If he is still even close to that player, he should be a no-brainer signing. I do wonder why he was unsigned though.

To parrot the Spags, why is he available if he’s so good? That truly is a legitimate question that needs to be answered.

Part of the answer hinges on what the expectations are of him here. Too many will expect the skills that made hime a 1st round draft pick and the reality is he obviously hasn’t lived up to those expectations.

Again, we now are taking a look at a LB because we are injury riddled. Were we in such a great situation with our corp to start the year we are just addressing this now? This franchise has been so reactive over the last number of decades it's a joke. Did we not lose a young stud at LB before the season started? Have we now played 5 games since, and just beginning to address the situation? Heck if I am wrong, then let me know please

They are going to play Parsons at linebacker. He is probably the best linebacker on the team.

Because he doesn’t cover well. He likely wanted to be paid and teams didn’t cover his cover skills.

He is a classic two down thumper. Teams are going more spread offense and guys like this are harder to keep on the field.
