Cowboys might be interested in Sabby Piscitelli if Tampa Bay releases him

Without checking his stats, I would guess that if we were interested it would primarily be for special teams. We don't seem to think a lot of Watkins. Maybe they think Sabby would be pretty good on ST and not a disaster at S if he had to play on defense.

Then again, my real suspicion is that we aren't really very interested at all. Was the report that we *are* interested, or some writer speculating that we *could* be interested? My money is on the latter.

Piscitelli in 3 years has 131 career tackles, with 80 last year and 4 career interceptions, while he was drafted in the 2nd round. At 6-3, 224 might be a financial fit at about 2.75 million.

Couldn't you really say that about anyone?

Is this the Ranch Report?

My money is on the Ranch Report writer just pulled a name out of thin air (or someplace else).

One of the biggest reasons why Tampa has soured on this player was because of poor tackling. That is not usually part of the profile for a player you want to add on special teams.

They wanted Pool (who went to the Jets) and are now visiting with Sean Jones. That says a lot.

I think I can safely say that this article is more full of crap than a stable full of horses who eat nothing but Ex Lax.

Joe, contrary to popular opinion, the internet has a long and glorious history of executing the bearers of bad news.

Kinda like "love the one you are with" only different.

I can't kill the one I want to kill, so you will have to do .

Did I quote you? Did I address you? Did I rail on you somehow? If I disagree with the content of any future article are you going to think it means I am aiming a gun at you?

I had the Sabby Piscitellis once in 4th grade and it sucked. I had a bad rash under both arm pits and missed band camp.

So Tampa sucked and they are looking for a upgrade at his spot. Exactly why should that make us interested?

Oh god NO.

Tampa fans have been ready to string Piscatelli up for the last two years. He's awful. HUGE downgrade from Hamlin or Sensabaugh. HUGE.
