Cowboys must hurry up signing our FAs

With FA less then 8 days away, Cowboys better move fast to sign Colombo & Crayton. We also must give McBriar enough of a tender to lessen other teams' interest in him although I won't be surprised if we lose him to a team with deep cap pockets. Also unless there a FG kicker out there who better then Gramatica and will come cheaper then he will, we should sign Gramatica as well. The little guy kicked well for us after being out of football for over 2 years due to injury.

McBriar needs to be retained for sure. The guy was a monster. If we were pinned within our 20, he usually gave the opposing team pretty mediocre field position.

I'll be curious to see what Seattle does with Josh Brown. There was talk they might actually franchise him earlier in the week. Though I can't say I want to get into a bidding war for Brown either.

Oh...I heard the did but must have heard wrong.

I guess it really does not matter as we will not pay big money for another Kicker.

I say stick with Grammatica for the right price and either draft a kicker in the late second day rounds or find an undrafted guy.

I just know Jerry was burned on Ray Finklejact and will not go that route again any time soon.

Crayton and McBriar are RFAs - I can't see anyone giving up high picks for them. Crayton did some nice stuff last year -- but teams know he's doing it with Owens, Glenn, and Witten on the field -- so isn't like he's playing against the opponent's best. Gramatica wants to stay but the team will let him test the market. Kickers don't fly off the shelf so there is no hurry there.

I like Crayton and Colombo but not paying McBriar and retaining him would be BRUTAL. He's the best punter in the league right now IMO. He should be a very high priority.

We'll get them done I bet. Jerry's pretty good at these type of things. We've got the cap room, so why not?

colombo is the one that concerns me the most...get him signed b/c i dont think he will be back if he hits the market
