...Who can run tough between the Tackles, pick up short 2nd, 3rd or 4th & 1s, make tacklers miss while picking up extra yards, catch a quick dump off pass for positive yards and be able to punch it in inside the 5 yard line for a TD.

Cowboys need someone like Zeke.

Imagine playing RB in the NFL at 5’5”. Deuce is very tough.
He didn't look that small on the field. For his height he's got plenty of mass.

Also, I've heard 5'5 and I've heard 5'6. He's probably somewhere in between. And if he's close to 180.... That's a ton of mass and muscle. Add to that, his agility...

If he was 5'7 he'd be 185/190
5'8/200
5'9 /205
When I was in better shape I was heavy into height vs weight vs body fat %

Imagine Deuce with 20 lbs added. Little ball of hate right there. Could be done

Some referencing Deuce getting reps between the tackles while I have seen some anoint Deuce as the #2 RB already. While we all hope for success, is it realistic to think that an NFL combine listed 5' 5" 179 pound running back can take the constant pounding of 300+ pound plus defensive linemen and 250+ pound NFL linebackers? While he showed up in college stats, his size will limit inside short-yardage runs as well as in pass protection.
Again, while many were impressed with his showing in Dallas' first preseason game vs. JAX keep in mind Vaughn didn't play until the second half against JAX players that may not even make the final roster.
So while hope is there for lightning in a bottle, and especially given the injury Pollard is coming off of, slow down the expectations until Vaughn shows up consistently against opposing team starters.

Pre-draft, I was pretty high on that Jacksonville rookie Tank Bigsby. He reminded me of Marion Barber. Would have been a nice compliment to our RB room.
Overshown smacked the heck out of him on a 3rd and short and put him down at the LOS.

Dude couldn’t truck a S/LB hybrid, not very Barber-like.

I know it’s just one play lol just chattin

Please stop telling people how to think.

You do you, and let others do themselves.

For the record, so far, Deuce is starting to prove you wrong. He's done it his whole life, and he's most likely to keep proving his doubters wrong once again.

Pollard's never been a high volume guy. And the way he gets dinged up, you don't want to use him as a high volume guy.

If Brian Schottenheimer really wants to rush on 50% of our plays, we really need a good RB2 to take about 100 carries off Pollard. RBs have never been cheaper to find, in terms of FA deals and draft capital, so why we didn't add anyone beside Deuce is mystifying.
