Cowboys Need To Cut Adam Jones Now, Here Is Why..

Its only a matter of time before he screws up again and gets banned. I say cut bait with him now and get it over with. He's a huge distraction to this team, and he's a knucklehead toboot.

Well hell yes, though his "team cancer" impact has been minimal. He is, rather than a team cancer, an asscancer, a tumor, a growth, a mole, a wart, a melanoma. He has no worth. He is excess, useless flesh. They guy is a walking idiotic play machine. He has ZERO on the field positive impact, but boy he will get you a 27 men on the field penalty every time. And put the ball on the ground after another 9 yard return, or field a punt at the 3 yard line. Guy has the IQ of a shoulderpad. It be different if these boneheaded plays were balanced by some on the field gold, huge returns, big plays, - but every big play he is involved in is the other teams big plays.

Good riddance to this clown, the circus is thataway...

Tell us how you really feel. LOL! Good job.

So you're just looking for a scapegoat, then. A sacrificial "symbol" that shows that "change" is coming.

Nobody likes the guy, but he played well and isnt why we missed the playoffs

He was not the reason why we missed the playoffs but he is one of the reasons this team was distracted!

You're not a "big picture" kinda guy, huh?

If the Cowboys want to cut out the cancer, they need to start by cutting Adam Pacman Jones.

Sorry, I can care less how much talent Adam Pacman Jones has. Jones was a major distraction to the Cowboys and his stupid suspension hurt the Cowboys and it cost the Cowboys a game or two when the Cowboys were hurting for healthy CB's.

IMO, I think Scandrick and Jenkins will be very good players. Another year of training camp, Scandrick and Jenkins will help bolster the Cowboys defense along side Terence Newman.

IMO, I think Jenkins can beat out Henry. Henry and Scandrick can play in the Nickle and Dime packages.

So, there will be no need for Pacman Jones to come back. The Cowboys need to start off the 09' off-season on the right foot by getting rid of the Cancer that Jones brings to the team.

What do you guys think?

Pac man is out.

Sorry bro, Jones isn't worth the headaches. There is a reason why the Cowboys spent a #1 and a late rounder on CB's.

Pac is cheap, no reason to get rid of him especially after what happend this year at corner with all of the injuries. He was our best corner. He will be better after an offseason with us and another year in the system.

I agree, get him out. He was onyl brought in for publicity anyway, let's be honest with ourselves.

He was our best corner in '08.

Sorry dude but he darn sure wasn't better then TNew or Scandrick and basically even with Jenkins.. And thats coming from a cat who likes Pacman..

Did you see what a difference Newman made when he returned from injury?

YA he got toasted in the most important games of the season, with exception of like 1 or 2 games, he played bad the rest.

I don't think he's worth arguing over. Regardless if he's good or not I hold out little hope he'll stay clean this whole off season. The odds are we're going to be reading about him making it rain sometime this offseason.

Stop! Your a hater! Everybody knows that Newman is one of the best man to man CB's.

Newman struggled when there was no pass rush like at

philly.

They don't have to fire him NOW, he will do something between now and the next season to fire himself.

You really think we need a reason or excuse to cut him?

Use a draft pick (or get someone in FA) and move on.

Clearly we don't need any more Pacman drama.

But if as an organization we're interested in resetting the chemistry of this team, we need to take the lead in cutting off the cancers -- not just wait for them to implode with the law or walk away in free agency.

The last thing we need is Pacman getting in trouble in, say, April to July and casting an odd cloud over the team heading into camp.

so what happens when one of those guys injured?

pacman is good depth. he didn't seem to hurt the development of jenkins and scandrick so not sure how he's a cancer. didn't hear anything about him being lazy in practice.

he played well when the other cbs were injured. best tackler in the secondary.

hard to blame him on returns. he's used to having people block and just trying too hard to make a play when there is none, like romo. i don't really fault him for that.

if he stays clean during the offseason, don't know why you wouldn't bring him back.

the distraction of his suspension was marginal. cut him if his roster spot caused a divide in the lockerroom, but i don't see it.
