Not true. I think our defense will hold its own against the eagles, and they might have the upper hand.

Thomas wants one thing, more money. Can't say as I blame him but here are the facts, over the past two years his production has dropped off big time,and Byron Jones has the same production over the past two years. That tells me (a) Byron is a better safety than we give him credit for or (b) ET ain't what he used to be. His former defensive coach is here now, if Richard thought he was a difference maker he would be here. I've said that since all these trade rumors started

He fractured his leg in 2016 (missed 5 gms) and had a pro bowl season in 2017.

It's an article, but of course you didn't click the link to read it. Just ******** about it in ignorance like everyone else. Not that I even agree with the article.

You don't throw a premium pick and a premium contract at a 29 year old. It's stupid and it's been part of the problem here for 25 years.Jerry overpaying for a veteran because he had no long term plan or any idea how to draft. But you know he's chomping at the bit to sell those Thomas jerseys. Still… no thanks!!
 
I would have no problem trading our 2nd next year for ET. and here's why. Does anyone here think the Cowboys have a shot this upcoming season? Do we think our defense can play a big role this season? If the answer is yes then ET is the perfect mercenary. But we have to be ready. If we're a season or two away it would be a mistake. It all depends on where we think we're at this upcoming season. If we don't think we're going to compete for a SB then you don't sign players like ET and Suh. Because it would be a waste. Only teams that think they are in the running do stuff like this. The Cowboys inactivity leads me to believe we're still a few years away.

Not if we get a consistent pass rush. Which is why I am super P.O. at Irving. We need all hands on deck. I think our safety play will be better this year.
 
I believe they have said no at current asking price. I think this is largely media and fan driven.

I’ll be glad when season starts and ET is wearing Seahawks uni.

I don’t want his overpriced injury risk here. We got large contracts to think about soone enough his contract don’t need to complicate things

Running after JG after the game and asking us to come get him had to affect his relationship with the players in the locker room. Poor taste.
