I'd like to see what the helmet actually looks like from the side. I wouldn't necessarily be against a metallic royal blue helmet.

The only change to the helmet that I might EVER be in favor of would be to chrome it. Otherwise leave it alone, IMHO.

Chrome would be interesting. Wonder how that would look.

Ok it's time for a fashion thread for all you "guys" who like to constantly talk about fashion and red carpet lineups.

Seriously though we should just have LED's in the uni's and programmable nameplates and numbers so you guys can dress up and Barbie with our football team.

Lol

Yea but teams like Philly, Detroit, and Arizona have come out with black alternate jerseys over the past few years so I figured it might be a possibility. Agree that we should wear 'em at least one game a year.

Those 3 teams can pull it off because their jerseys have trim around the numbers that are much more complementary to black; white, red, and green. The black on charcoal with dark blue trim looks horrible.

Not a fan of these to be honest, my favorites are the blue jerseys.

The LAST piece of uniform I want to see changed is the helmet. That is our trademark and should not ever change a thing to it.

All I want is the same color blue and silver. Is that too much to ask?

You guys would think I'm pretty old but when I work out I listen to hard core rap and trance music and I like to stay in touch with what's going on, but when it comes to changing the rich tradition of our uniforms, well...

I like it -- a lot! Can't mess with the blues though.

Be a rebel, listen to soft core rap.

3 points.

1. Those are terrible looking.

2. I do kind of like the look of the one that someone probably sent Dez or whatever. (They look better than the whites you have now)

3. The Helmet and Star have been changed over the years (to whomever posted that about the helmet).

EDIT: 1 more point...I agree with you JonJon about the colors.

I had a black Woodson jersey about 10 yrs ago

I recall a pic of someone in a Commanders 75th Anniversary Jersey that was black also (had Commanders colors otherwise). They also made what was (I believe) called the "ghost (or shadow)" jersey for all the teams that were just black and gray (or white) a few years ago.

Commanders fans complain that black is not one of their uniform colors. I never liked them either. I have 8 jerseys and all are burgundy (I just prefer the darker color) White jerseys are nice, just not for me.

That trend is changing with the uniforms you see in college sports these days however. I prefer old school myself, but I can't hate on the kids for wanting their own style injected.

Was me. The helmets have essentially been unchanged since 1967, excluding padding, straps, etc. There have been minor adjustments but my point was not to change the silver helmet with the blue star outlined in white.

Why ?

It certainly didn't hurt the Patriots, Ravens, Commanders, etc.

Rock your old school stuff. Real fans love that even more. When ugh...Jeff George was signed I went to training camp and had a Mark Moseley jersey on and everyone was asking where I got it from ( Look both players up :p: ) , It was a throwback to the only kicker to ever win an MVP. Moseley happened to be there and it is now a signed... awesome.

You guys realize these are "limited".

I suggest you all hurry and buy yours now before they're all sold out.
