Cowboys not expected to re-engage Crosby trade talks

Dr. Dan was also involved in signing off on Jalen Smith. I don't have much confidence in the cowboys med staff.
And Jaylon Smith did fully recover and play a number of years when some experts claimed he would not play a single snap in the NFL.

I'm not sure Jaylon has fully recovered. From what I recall, he was fine going up and down the field, but had major issues moving side to side, which was the major issue with the injury he suffered.

Hurt feelings? The guy failed medical bc of a bad knee, what the heck is keeping you guys from aeeing that? Why are you so insistent on teying to aquire a player for a ton of draft capital that has an injury that will only get worse in addition to a big contract

Move on...hes not worth it
The price for Crosby definitely has lowered for the Raiders. No way they can demand two 1st round picks anymore. Push back from other teams will be the injury.

I don't think the Raiders will get a ton of draft capital any longer. Nor do I think this injury is a career ending injury for the player.

Yeah he played but at what level? It was a feel good story for a yr or two and then he became a liability.

Damaged goods from the start and a total waste of a 2nd rd pick on another injured player.

This is more of a criticism of Jerry Jones and his drunken dart throws in the 2nd rd. than anything else.

Dr. Cooper is highly respected in his field but his recommendation lead the cowboys to pick Smith in the 2nd rd. That’s all that Jerry needed to move forward... the rest is history.

The talk on the radio is all over the place on this one. Some are speculating that the Ravens decided 1 firsts was too much and found a way to back out of the deal. Others are suggesting Ravens' doctors found degeneration in the knee that would shorten his career making him not worth 1 firsts. This is bad for both the Raiders and Crosby because the teams most interested in him have gone in other directions. The question now is how low will the Raiders go in a trade? My guess is they will still want a 1st round pick. Or they just keep him.
