Cowboys not expected to re-engage Crosby trade talks

So, you’re asking the Cowboys to back out of an agreement with the Packers and Gary?

Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.
Yes, if we can get Maxx instead. Maxx is much better than Gary, always has been….i want a better D, however we need to do that….if there’s a way to revisit this and trade for Maxx (hell even add Gary to a package for him)….thats better. For far too long we have traded for middle of the road players or signed meh FAs. If the raiders were willing to trade him for a reasonable package, you do it. He would be better next to Q and Clark than Gary would. I mean we need to see what the issue was with his physical, but I just wasn’t impressed with the Gary move…..we have acquired those kind of players for years. 1 pro bowl vs 5 pro bowl + 2 second team all pro, zero double digit sack seasons vs 4….both played 7 seasons.

I posted this in another thread. The Cowboys may feigning disinterest to get Crosby for less than their previous offer.

There is more to this story that will come out over next couple of days.

It is just odd.

Just take Rashan Gary and be happy about it already.
Geez, shrugs.

Cowboys!

The battle at Wounded Knee Crosby edition will not be a difference maker at Dallas or any other B level team. His stats did not move the needle one inch in Las Vegas. People need to let it go.

If they're not interested because they're salty over losing the first time, when does that pettiness end? What, will we refuse to trade with Raiders ever again, because they didn't accept our trade offer that one time?

You'd hope that would be BS, but the reason we're in this scenario in the first place is because the owner traded away our best player because his feelings were hurt

Dr Dan reported to be involved in the exam review

Did they not consult him when they were offering a 1st, 2nd+?

Serious.

Or will be something about new light/never seen before medical data post trade?

It doesn't end. This is the problem with Jerry Jones as the GM. He makes what he thinks is a fair offer and then when the player or the agent takes another deal, Jerry feels jilted and maybe annoyed bc he wasted his time. Everything is personal. The statement that we have moved on with the Gary signing is absurd. They are not equivalent players and we still need a DE.

Sounds like hurt feelings again. C'mon, Jerry.
Hurt feelings? The guy failed medical bc of a bad knee, what the heck is keeping you guys from aeeing that? Why are you so insistent on teying to aquire a player for a ton of draft capital that has an injury that will only get worse in addition to a big contract

Move on...hes not worth it

Well, presumably the Ravens paid for him to consult on their physical and that happened after the trade.

The Cowboys haven’t done a physical so Cooper hasn’t been directly involved

I’m a bit hazy on the ethics of him reviewing scans for the Ravens and then sharing that information with the Cowboys.
