It had been rumored that the Cowboys were looking at bringing in Milloy for a visit, but now it looks like that won't happen (which I'm personally glad about). The Falcons made him a 3-year offer, the Bengals made an offer, and he has a visit with Seattle still upcoming.

I think he was already signed today...hold on, I'll try to find that link....

EDIT: Hmmm, maybe I was wrong, but I could have sworn I read it somewhere today...maybe it was just a rumor.

I've got a feeling that the veteran FS who has the best chance of coming in is Marcus Coleman.

The Falcons offered him a 3-year deal, but the Bengals also offered him a deal (through his agent because he was meeting with the Falcons today). Since his agent met with the Bengals and he met with the Falcons, they were going to take some time to sit down and go through everything before he signed. The Bengals have signed Dexter Jackson since they made their offer so now it is likely down to Seattle and Atlanta unless a darkhorse emerges.

Ok, I found the link, but I warn you, this is a link to another message board, and the original poster has yet to post the actual link to the story!

So this is unofficially another rumor thread:

Milloy to the Falcons

You mean people really pay $100 for that site?
Excuse me but getting info from them and paying for it is beyond me. I mean the worst thing that can happen if you don't waste your money on that is... They have to wait until ESPN reports it, which is plenty fast enough. :lmao2: :lmao:

That's who I want.

yet another FA period is passing with no FS moves.

This Scott/Dixon/Reese/BerryO/Davis esque competition is getting old.

I was against it at the time, but I wish we had pursued Darren Sharper last year.

Or Corry Chavious this year.

Has Hope signed yet. He would be a significant upgrade over what we have trotted out there the last couple of years.

I guess Parcells just loves Davis & Pile at FS. Oh well, I guess 9-7 is good for another year, particularly w/o a decent kicker.

Don't understand why so many want Marcus Coleman. Understand he was bench by the Texans because he was so bad. Did anybody see him play last year?

I wouldn't be against signing Coleman, and give Beraiult a chance to play FS in training camp. I mean last year it sounded like BP thought he could play FS, just not in his rookie year.

The bad news on that front is that on GAC yesterday they said that Coleman had an alcohol problem, missed a lot of meetings with the Texans, and played lousy last year. They said that Parcells will know everything that happened with the Texans since Chris Palmer is here now. Hopefully if that is the direction we go he gets his act straightened out. Coleman and Aaron Glenn are very close.

No problem. You can make up for it by wanting T.O. now and regreting it later! hahaha
