DT Chris Canty (calf) was not seen at practice earlier. His status for Sunday's game is still up in the air.
12:36:48 pm S Michael Johnson (shoulder) wasn't in shoulder pads for today's practice, but was participating somewhat. S Kenny Phillips (knee) and CB Kevin Dockery (hamstring) were in full pads and were participating in drills.
12:31:47 pm The Giants have added OL Jacob Bender to the practice squad. The 6-6 316-pounder was originally drafted by the Jets in 2007 after playing college ball at Nicholls State.

Giants defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan said that he is keeping an eye out for the Cowboys two TE formation. Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett had at least two TE's on the field 30 of 52 plays versus Tampa.
3:57:07 pm Without their own indoor facility, Cowboys coach Wade Phillips had his squad practicing in a steady rain for the first 30 minutes of practice. There were no new injuries to report and QB Tony Romo was able to practice without any problems with his ankle.
2:21:23 pm The last time the Cowboys and Giants met in December, Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett called several screen passes in the game to slow down the Giants rush. Garrett was able to work screens to wideouts, backs and tight ends.

I liked Canty also, but $42 mil is a lot of scratch for a guy that is really mediocre.

It's a ridiculous amount: and we couldn't match it and still pay Ware.....but turnabout is fair play. We'll sign a gspot player next offseason: JJ will get payback, especially if there's no cap: poaching divisional players is fair game but chicken$#@T and spineless.......
