Most likely the estate goes to his wife Gene. And the kids will maintain their same roles. Assuming she out lives him.

Once Jethro or Gene passes then the survivor will update their wills. Id expect bulk of their estates have been placed in a trust to minimize taxes levied.

It's not Jerry thats making the Cowboys so valuable. It the Cowboys name, that's it, that's all.

The Lakers sold for 10 billion last year and all they did in the time was let Lebron go and sold for 12.5 billion, 14 months later.

I know for most fans, esp hardcore fans, being the most profitable franchise is the most fun part of being a Cowboy fan, not deep playoff runs.

Winning was nice 30 years ago, but most fans have settled into the notion that Jerry just wants the team to be competitive, but we're never in the conf championship game.

I think when I was younger, I'd have some sort of pride about this. Sure, we're not winning, but we're the biggest most valuable franchise in the world. That's something right?

Now, I realize that this valuation means literally absolutely nothing to me. Nothing in the slightest. Maybe actually the opposite. If we were one of lowest ranked teams in the league, maybe Jerry wouldn't want it. But regardless, I just want my team to win it all.

This valuation is just for the owners and simp fans who get a sort of misplaced pride for it.
