I was watching the Cowboys Post Game Show and it has Nate Newton on it. He made a very good point about the Cowboys offense and how it travels. I didn't really understand what that meant when your offense can travel. He said the Cowboys can score 30+ on the road and at home which should scare opponents. Nate also gave an example using the Packers and said they score 30+ at home but only 21 on the road. I really like the Boys' chances against any team.

This is just a theory, but Dallas has an offense (whether running or passing) that keeps them out of too many 3rd and long situations. This leads to greater 3rd down conversions, and fewer big plays by the opposing defense, which helps take the crowd out of the game. Do that, and it makes it easier on the offense. Helps perpetuate a more positive cycle.

Slightly correction -- the Packers score 40+ at home (on average).

I believe that number will likely go down and rough weather settles in here in the midwest.

Since Thanksgiving Dallas' offense has been as good any in the league, shredding defenses like butter (mixed metaphor alert!). The offense has been Packeresque with long stretches where it was unstoppable. Also our run game coupled with Dez has made our red zone offense deadly.

If we keep this up we will be the scariest offense in the league because we are the best at TOP. It's not just about big plays. It's about controlling the game to defeat the opposing offense.

We may get GB here. Rogers has a calf injury. It may give him problems against the Lions this weekend. NFLN was just reporting it, and I think they said was limited practice today. Was in the other room, so didn't quite hear it all.
